Case: Turbo Plant course for +25 Danish plant-based food companies

As consumers, the transition from animal-based to plant-based foods is slow. This places additional demands on both new and established companies.

Challenge:  As consumers, the transition from animal-based to plant-based foods is slow. This places additional demands on both new and established companies to gain a place in the minds of consumers as well as buyers and food developers within retail, foodservice and the food industry.

Solution:  In collaboration with TurboPlant and the Danish Industry Foundation, Kombination has worked with +25 companies in commercial development processes over the past 3 years, where the goal is to make the companies and their products more relevant and sales-ready to consumers and decision-makers in the value chain.

Result:  Our efforts have led to concrete growth in most of the plant-based companies in the form of stronger positioning, new customers, increased sales, new sales channels and new partnerships within plant-based product innovation.

Customer experience:  We have only received positive feedback on our sparring and advice in the very results-oriented fast-track processes that we have carried out with the companies. The picture shows the team behind Nocla, which is just one of the plant pioneers that we have worked with.

Conclusion:  Through our commercial fast-track process, Kombination has helped Danish plant-based food companies overcome the first hurdles and barriers to be relevant and taken seriously across sales channels, markets and customer types.
